Solitaire Engagement Rings
The solitaire is the engagement ring in its purest form — a single diamond, raised to catch the light, with nothing to distract from the stone itself. Our solitaire settings range from classic four- and six-prong designs to bezel and wide-band variations, each crafted to put your diamond front and center.
Choose your metal — 9K, 14K, or 18K white, yellow, or rose gold — then set it with any GIA-certified, Triple Excellent diamond from our collection. You'll see the finished ring and its full grading before you buy.
Free fully-insured shipping and 30-day returns on every order.

About Solitaire Engagement Rings
Why choose a solitaire?
A solitaire centers all the attention on a single stone. With no surrounding diamonds to compete for light, the brilliance and proportions of your center diamond are the entire story. It is the most timeless engagement ring style — and the easiest to resize, restyle, or pair with a future wedding band.
What metal works best for a solitaire?
Every ring comes in solid 9k, 14k, or 18k gold — white, yellow, or rose — or 950 platinum. Platinum is the most popular choice: naturally white, the most durable, and protective of the center stone. White gold offers the same look at a lower price (with occasional rhodium re-plating). Yellow and rose gold warm up the look and contrast beautifully with a colorless diamond.
What carat size suits a solitaire?
Because a solitaire has no surrounding accent stones, the center diamond defines the visual size. Most of our solitaire customers choose a 1.0–2.0 ct center; with a lab-grown diamond you can typically go up a full carat for the same budget vs. natural.
